Arrested at a speed trap in New Hampton, currently being held in the Belknap County Jail. Some sort of felony charges from Rhode Island, so they’re seeking extradition. No bail. According to MTPorcupine3, three felonies, including welfare fraud greater than $500, false documents to public officials. She’ll be arraigned in Laconia District Court at 09:00 on 2009-06-05. A bunch of us will be going up. Wonderful timing, as usual, since she’s supposed to be working on Sam’s case over the next week or so. Probably not a coincidence. New Hampton Police — 744-5423 Belknap County Jail — 527-5480 Laconia District Court — 524-4128 Porc411 call attached. I really wish my schedule wasn't so packed... I could call in late to work for this, but I have a feeling there will be more important dates down the road for me to pull that card on.

If you have to choose, showing up for the trial dates would probably be more important. An arraignment could only last five minutes.

Probably not a coincidence.
I thought the same thing but that was before I clicked your link and found out it was a traffic stop. Random? I would assume so for now. If they are old warrants they may have only recently been processed but if they are new charges that might also explain why she wasn't arrested when the judge recognized her as Sam's attorney.

I'm swamped today but will probably attend the trial. I'll watch for updates about the arraignment. Give Ivy my best.

Recent Porc411 says Ivy will continue to be held until they work out some stuff with RI (up to 30 days). Then she could be released on PR. :'(

I wonder whether she will waive an extradition hearing or require RI to provide NH with a "governor's warrant" to get her out of the state. Depends on how big of a hurry she's in to get back out, I guess.

Thanks for keeping us informed! Is there anything that I can do to help Ivy (or whoever is assisting her) out at this time?

I'm currently working on a lot of stuff for both Sam and Ivy, and tomorrow is some triathalon, supposedly good business. Good thing, 'cause after towing fees, etc. I've a small stack of 1's to my name. If anyone's free, I could use some help to just straighten up after the raid, wait tables, maybe just hang out and keep me company.
Enjoy drinks and food, my treat.
Might need a ride or an errand run, once I figure out what my plan for tomorrow is. Call first if on your way in case I need something from somewhere in between?
Thanks

Sir, I've called and they won't tell me a thing even though I have a BA in CJ. If you need some help tomorrow, I'm not that far away. Let me know.
