It's 2:30 am but I thought if any of you Keeniacs want to show up to Victory Park at noon I will be following in Andrew Carrol's example asking people why it is illegal for me to hold a plant.
It seems there aren't as many activists with video cameras here but I hope someone shows up. The court case will be more eventful than the arrest, unless they get crazy on me. I don't plan on cooperating with the kidnapping but I won't resist.
I'll post a little more details in the morning. Hope to see some of you there.

There is no Victory Park in Keene. I'd recommend against doing anything that will get you arrested in Manchester. Word on the street is that your stay at the jail in Westmoreland would be the least bad and your stay at the jail around Manchester would be the worst.

I hope I'm enough under the wire to be able to advise a bit more advance planning. With enough notice, this could be a terrific statement; the impulsive nature of your announcement, though, virtually guarantees maximum risk for minimum impact.

My bad on the location description. Detroit jails are bad

Thanks Sam. I've been planning this for a while and will likely take the case all the way to the top. The arrest will be uneventful. It's the trial and what happens when I'm released that I hope will have an impact. Stay tuned...

I don't think you'll get a huge Keene turnout on such short notice for the arrest. It's a 1.5 hour drive and many people need to arrange rides because they don't drive. You'll probably get a good turnout from here for the trial though.

However this works out, welcome to NH. Looks like you were serious about giving Keene some competition!

Well, if you're equipped in terms of time, finances, and emotional stability to stick with it, then more power to you, and I'll contribute what support I can.

The impact was based on how much he promoted the events. So don't expect much impact from anything but how much you work your butt off to promote it. 800,000 or so folks get arrested in the US every year for something similar.

Sounds like Big Mike has a plan. Hopefully the Manch porcs will pour out in support for this on such short notice. This is a test for Manchester porcs, I think.

It sounds like he got psyched up at Taproom Tuesday so maybe he drummed up some support discussing it there and will get a decent turnout.
