I’ve put up a brief story about this on the 420@420 site.

Such a stupid reason to get arrested. If anyone in the Keene area is going to "Big Mike's" court date, let me know. I'd like to go along.

Obviously they were just looking for something.

While I can't definitely claim Post hoc, ergo propter hoc, we appeared to have some success here in Keene by taking our cause directly to the houses of the guilty parties. When Kurt was nearly crippled by Keene's star resident thug, we held candles outside his home that night, singing the song embedded in this column: http://freekeene.com/2009/11/17/now-is-the-time-for-all-good-porcs-to-come-to-the-aid-of-their-brethren/Film exists to show that he was either angry enough that he had to be restrained by other cops from assaulting us, or was pretending to be, with a theatrical assist from his colleagues--but either way, a point was made. It took a while to get rolling. I thought at the time that large crowds would be needed each time it was done, to prevent further assault, and, knowing this lunatic (knowing, too, that he and we are well aware he has full exemption from any consequences from his own illegal behavior), even gunfire. Eventually, it was decided to hold nightly vigils, of only two to five people as it turned out. Within four days, Kurt was released. If the same approach were to be used in this case--coinciding with MLK Day, no less!--the result might well be amazing . . .

Did anyone get the name of the arresting officer(s)? That’d be where to start—but I have no idea how to find their residential addresses; most of that information is kept out of public records for “officer safety.”
We won’t know who the judge is until the arraignment on Tuesday, either. Manch doesn’t already have a well-known jackass of a judge like Keene does; there are at least two or three judges in Manchester District Court.

Voter registration records or registry of deeds are places to consider. It's all public info.

Whoever was arrested can get "discovery" which should provide arresting officer info so they can be called as witnesses, right?

Checking the 10-day forecast, it looks like highs will be in the 30's for, well, about the rest of the month, with no predicted rain or snow after this storm moves through. Why do I have the feeling that the 4:20 events are going to start going daily again?

This is a little less polished than I like to present, but if an effort is made to run across Captain Courageous, I have a little song he should hear:
Oooh! Oooh! I've been assaulted! Bad boy! That man is faulted! He . . . touched . . . the Prrresence Exalted! Somebody save me from him!
Oooh! Oooh! I'm threatened so much! That nasty man came so close he could touch! How . . . could . . . Free Staters send such A scary bad man after me?
I enact disproportionate retribution For soiling my delicate constitution. That's so important, it invalidates The meaningless one of the United States.
I'd deal with this case like a man, but I can't--he's Part of this huge gang of fierce vigilantes. I'm already wetting the lacy pink panties I wear underneath the blue serge.
He's off the street and I'm safer now, but They need me to handle some dangerous nut. I could get a hangnail, a bruise, or a cut! Better pretend I don't hear.
I'm so important, I save you from crooks. That 8-year-old girl coming home from school looks Like there's a nail file stashed in her books Kick her down onto the ground
Sing in a mincing, childish voice, more or less to "Oh, Dear, What Can the Matter Be?"

May I please request that the idea of protesting the officer's residences be halted for the immediate time being? I know people are upset. I have good reason to ask... and wouldn't ask without having a good reason.
