It was Sam. For not paying $300 fine. They just took him. I have full video for later.

they also towed his car when we left the court. i'll be posting the video from court (it's pretty short) after i rescue his car... but to do that, he has to use his 1 phone call to call the police and allow me to take the car; otherwise, it's an additional $30/day fine. good thing we all have people on the outside to help out with stuff like this. you'd think the cops had planned this in advance to try to get as much money as they could out of sam... no luck with me around

Why did they tow it? Do you know whether they claimed that the car was parked in violation of some law?

The heroes would never do something like that. That would be dishonorable.

video is almost finished encoding. i'll post it up on freekeene.com when i get it onto youtube.
i apologize in advance that the beginning is shaky. i didn't bring a tripod, cause i didn't really know if anything was gonna happen where i couldn't carry it with me (just so happens, something did!) anywho, it's pretty much raw footage with a few cuts for time/taking out the shots of bailiff booty obscuring the camera... but the whole thing lasted under 8 minutes. short and not so sweet. just the way they like to serve "justice".

I'm with Lumpy. Every time I see or hear someone arrested for a victimless crime, it just adds to me pushing to abolish the current government. These "laws" were never stated in the Constitution. Even if they were, I would still like to see the downfall of a government that likes to rule in an almost a dictoral.

I guess you'll find out when you pick it up. They should be able to give you case numbers and court names (if more than one jurisdiction).

It was parking tickets. We had to pay the ransom ($150 in tickets) before the tow yard would release the car ($65 tow fee). Quite the scam they have going.
